Yoga for Mental Wellbeing

My Yoga for Mental Wellbeing class is suitable for beginners and is a sociable class for anyone wanting to reduce stress, improve sleep, connect with others and improve physical wellbeing.

All my classes are relaxed and informal, creating a warm, comfortable and welcoming environment to practice yoga. I have a range of community classes to suit different abilities.

I teach Hatha Yoga which looks to improve posture, core strength and balance through a series of postures focussing on alignment to get the most out of each pose.

Men’s Yoga in Carlisle

On a Wednesday night I run a Yoga for Men class which is an opportunity for men to have a go at yoga in an all-male environment – well, apart from me!

All my classes are relaxed and informal, creating a warm, comfortable and welcoming environment to practice yoga. I have a range of community classes to suit different abilities.

I teach Hatha Yoga which looks to improve posture, core strength and balance through a series of postures focussing on alignment to get the most out of each pose.

There are many barriers between people getting involved with yoga classes – the most common one I hear is that people worry they’re not flexible enough. Others worry that everyone else will be better than them, men worry they will be the only man in the class and most people worry that they’re going to fart! I aim to make my classes as approachable as possible where people aren’t afraid to give yoga a go and hopefully reap the benefits of this well-rounded activity.
